little watermelon treats is a one woman custom cake & pastry business located in central massachusetts.
LWT was created by Loren Stanard in 2016 to be able to create edible art for people, using the best possible ingredients.
Loren Stanard is 20 years of age and was born and raised in Central Massachusetts. Her interest in the culinary world began at a young age, while watching the Food Network and making dinner with her parents. As time went on, Loren grew a strong passion for baking. At the age of 13, Loren started her own at home cupcake business called, Cupcakes by Loren. She sold cupcakes by special request to family and friends, and eventually friends of friends, for many different occasions. Around her small town in Massachusetts, she soon became known as "the cupcake girl". Loren continued to bake all throughout high school, all from scratch and always trying to make new flavors and designs.
In 2014, Loren graduated from Shepherd Hill Regional High School, where she received a culinary scholarship for pursuing her passion. Loren attended New England Culinary Institute in the fall of 2014 to get her degree in Baking & Pastry Arts. Soon into her first year at NECI, she decided that switching to a degree in Culinary Arts would be a good idea so that she would eventually be well rounded chef in both savory and sweet cuisine. Loren has now graduated and is a New England Culinary Institute Alumni with her Associates Degree in Culinary Arts.
